WAKEFIELD — Kristina Latham of Wakefield, died Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Born in Columbus, Ohio on April 3, 1987 she was the beloved daughter of Kevin and Kerry (Poling) Latham of Wakefield.

Kristina was a Wakefield resident and a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 2005. She later attended North Shore Community College where she achieved her associate’s degree in Business Administration.

As an exercise enthusiast, Kristina enjoyed working out with unique activities such as hula-hooping and boxing. She had worked as a bartender and waitress at TGI Fridays in Danvers and On the Boarder Café in Woburn and most recently was working for Ametek in Peabody in the Accounts Receivable department. Kristina had a love for children, especially her cousin Benjamin.

In addition to her parents, Kristina is survived by her loving brother Joshua Latham of Wakefield. She was the beloved fiancée of George Morin of Danvers and the adoring granddaughter of Barbara Poling of Largo, Fla.; Jerry and Nancy Poling of Bradford, Ohio and John and Dolores Duncan of Sanford, Fla. and the late Joseph Latham and Edward and Cora Kiner. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St., Melrose on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
