LYNNFIELD – The Lynnfield Athletic Association’s 50th annual Fourth of July Road Race was another huge success. The 5K race featured over 70 runners from Lynnfield.
Shawn Wallace, 36, of Waltham, was the overall winner of the race, finishing with a time of 16:00.
Julia Hincman-Francavilla, 34, of Beverly, was the women’s winner with a time of 20:01.
David Henriques, 18, of Lynnfield High School finished 10th overall, and was the first Lynnfield resident to cross the finish line with a time of 20:44
Matthew Goguen, 16, (20:52) finished 11th overall.
Marie Norwood, 19, was the first female Lynnfield resident to cross the line with a time of 22:19. Norwood was third in the female 15-19 age group.

Sam Crosbie, 37, (21:26) finished third in the male 30-39 age group.
Sean Sullivan, 41, (21:27) finished first in the male 40-49 age group.
John Sievers, 52, (22:19) finished third in the male 50-59 age group.
Dillon Reilly, 10, (24:11) was the fastest runner in the male 10 and under age group.
Diane Cook, 60, (26:20) finished third in the female 60-69 age group.
Twelve current Lynnfield High School students competed in the race, with Henriques finishing first.
Anthony Wilkinson, 17, (23:01); Patrick Walsh, 15, (23:30) and Michael Dreher, 14, (24:43) were the next current Pioneers to finish.
Lauren Braconnier, 14, (24:51) was the fastest female LHS student, and first in the female 11-14 age group.
LHS alumna, Meryl Braconnier, 19, was the next to finish at 24:55.
Other LHS students in the race were Ashley Barrett, 16, (25:07); Briana Barrett, 16, (25:13); Grace Macdonald, 15, (27:00); Alexa Vittiglio, 16, (28:13); Willa Maclennan, 16, (29:21); Lily Rothwell, 14, (31:09) and Mia Lemieux, 16, (32:02).
There were three generations of Giuglianos representing Lynnfield in the race. Salvatore Giugliano, 70, finished first in the male 70 and over age group with a time of 29:47. Steven Giugliano, 41, finished with a time of 25:24. The youngest, Salvatore Giugliano, 12, won the family bragging rights with a time of 24:28.
