WAKEFIELD — The town’s Recreation Department, The Savings Bank and WCAT will present the first of their three summer movies tonight at the Bandstand.
The Lego Movie will begin about 8:30 p.m. as the sun sets and then everything will be awesome!
Beforehand, families can enjoy a picnic on the Lower Common. Bring chairs, blankets and bug spray.
The movie is free and attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry.
The other summer movies will be Jumanji on Thursday, Aug. 13, and Guardians of the Galaxy Wednesday, Sept. 2.
