Linda-Martone-obit-9-2-16-webMELROSE — Linda M. Martone, 56, passed away at Beverly Hospital on August 29, 2016.

Linda was born in Boston, raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1977, and graduated from Suffolk University in Boston. She worked as an administrator at New England Medical Center in Boston for 25 years. Linda then started her own electrolysis business in Melrose on Main Street called Electrology Today, which she ran for the past six years. A lifelong resident of Melrose, she enjoyed the sun, going to the beach and loved to go shopping.

Linda was the devoted mother of Brianna J. Loranger. She was the cherished daughter of Barbara (Ianachino) Martone of Wakefield; and the late Manuel Martone. She was the loving sister of Patricia Zingariello and her husband Gerry of Wakefield; Robert Martone of Malden; Lisa Paine and her husband Robert of Lynnfield; Paula Penta and her husband Edward of Middleton; and Robin Flanagan of Easton. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St. Melrose on Saturday September 3 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
