GREENSBORO – Thirteen student-athletes from the Wakefield Memorial High School track and field program will be competing at New Balance Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina, starting this Friday, June 15.

The schedule of events for Wakefield athletes is as follows:

Friday, June 15

THE WMHS track and field program will be sending 13 Warriors to compete in the New Balance Nationals outdoor track and field meet in Greensboro, North Carolina. 2:50 p.m.: Section 3, boys’ 1600 meter sprint medley relay: Henry Stikeman, Joe Carmilia-Smith, Brian Smith and Matt Greatorex. 

4:45 p.m.: Section 2, girls’ 800 meter sprint medley relay: Ana Lucas, Ava Vaughan, Olivia Cameron and Allee Purcell. 

5:05 p.m.: Section 2, boys’ 800 meter sprint medley relay: Henry Stikeman, Marc Biennestin, Joe Carmilia-Smith and Brian Smith. 

Saturday, June 16

11:30 a.m.: Shot put-Flight 1: Patrick Redmond.

Sunday, June 17

8:40 a.m.: Section 2, boys’ 4 x 1 mile relay: Matt Greatorex, Carter Margolis, Riley Brackett and Rohan Singhvi.
