LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Middle School is once again sponsoring its annual holiday gift drive for families in need this holiday season.

Coordinated in conjunction with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCF), year after year, the LMS community displays an abundance of charity and generosity. Last year, more than 1,500 items were graciously donated to help families in need.

Information regarding specific items requested by the sponsored families can be found in informational packets sent home via students or on the LMS web page. Look for the “LMS Holiday Gift Drive” link under the School News heading.

Unwrapped gifts and gift cards should be properly labeled and dropped off at the LMS no later than Wednesday, Dec. 16. Donations of gift wrapping supplies is also appreciated.

On Friday, Dec. 18, staff members, DCF social workers, students and parents will gather after school to wrap the presents in preparation for distribution to families in advance of the holiday.
