MELROSE — Lorraine M. (Haskell) Fitzgerald, 98, of Melrose, died at the Life Care Center in Stoneham on July 1.
Lorraine was born in Boston and raised in Allston. She resided in Milton for several years and Melrose for many years. Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting.
She worked as a waitress for the Red Coach Grill for many years and as a proofreader for American Mutual Insurance Company.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Fitzgerald. She was loving mother of the late Roberta L. (Fitzgerald) Camara. She was the cherished grandmother of Laurie L. Zorba and her boyfriend James Kelly of N. Billerica and Christine A. DeCarolis and her husband James of NH.
Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, July 8, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
