Great–grandmother of eight with local survivors

EVERETT — Lucille C. (Morel) Butler, a lifelong Everett resident, passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on March 7, 2016, at 85 years.

She was the beloved wife of Retired Lt. Roy B. Butler, Everett Fire Department and the loving mother of Chief David Butler, Everett Fire Department and his wife Mary of North Reading, Patricia St. Germain and her husband Robin of Medford, Cheryl Bond of Everett, and Roy Butler and his wife Geraldine of Lovell, ME. Lucille was the loving sister of Gilbert and Paul Morel, and the late Roland and Arthur Morel. She was the cherished grandmother of Erin, Kelly, David, Sarah, Sean, Ronald, Jacqueline, Danielle, and John and the cherished great–grandmother of Brayden, Blake, Avery, Hannah, Lillian, Alyssa, Sofia, and Nicolas.

Services were held at the Chapel in Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett, on Friday, March 11. Lucille was a longtime department manager for Gorins–Almys Department Store. She later worked as a receptionist for Capuano Real Estate.
