LYNNFIELD — The Select Board voted to open the Fall Town Meeting warrant during a Sept. 13 meeting.
Fall Town Meeting will take place on Monday, Oct. 16, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School auditorium. Assistant Town Administrator Bob Curtin said residents who want to submit a citizens’ petition for Fall Town Meeting must submit the petition to both the Town Administrator’s Office and Town Clerk’s Office.
“The signatures have to be verified,” said Curtin.
The Select Board will be closing the Fall Town Meeting warrant on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m.
“Petition articles must be submitted to the town clerk no later than Friday, Sept. 22 for the validation of signatures,” said Select Board member Dick Dalton.
The Town Administrator’s Office and Town Clerk’s Office both close at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.
