LYNNFIELD — Three members of the Lynnfield High field hockey team recently received postseason honors from the Cape Ann League coaches. One Pioneer made the Cape Ann League First-Team All-Stars while two other girls made the CAL Second-Team All-Stars.

Jacqui Carbone, a captain, made the CAL First-Team All-Stars. The senior defenseman also made the Best of 60 Selection as well.

“Jacqui and Anna Kaminski (the other senior captain), were instrumental in the success of this team,” said Pioneers head coach Samantha Pindara, who just finished her second year at the helm. “They kept everyone grounded, focused on our goals, and led with confidence. I valued their input and trusted that the decisions they made were in the best interest of the team.”

It is the first-postseason honor for all three girls.
