NORWELL — This past weekend, the Lynnfield High girls’ track and field team participated in the Division 5 State Meet at Norwell High School.
Bella George had the Pioneers’ individual best finish as the senior co-captain came in 16th with a throw of 91-04 in the javelin.
In the discus, junior Emilie Bell placed 18th with a toss of 91 feet.
Olivia Goguen, placed 26th in the 400-meter hurdles as the junior had a time of 1:14.05.
Sophomore, Chase Carangelo, was 18th in the high jump at 4-10.while 11th-grader, Viola Wertz, placed 25th in the two mile at 13:09.56.
In the 4×800 relay, the Pioneers placed 13th with a time of 11:40.29. That team was made up of Katie Cash, Chloe Cieslewicz, Gabby Bottaro, Abi Lopez and Wertz.
