LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Recreation is hosting its annual Tree Lighting and Whobilation Celebration on the Town Common on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 3-5 p.m.
Families will be enjoying a festive afternoon filled with fun activities, including games sponsored by the Lynnfield Moms Group, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Realtors Christina Hixon and Liana Bevilacqua from Hixon and Bevilacqua Home Group will be handing out cookies.
There will also be face painting, Story Time at the Lynnfield Public Library and a special visit from The Grinch. The Lynnfield High School Chamber Singers and the Tri-M Band will be leading the community sing-a-long. Santa Claus will also be making his triumphant return to the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
“The Tree Lighting ceremony will take place at 5 p.m., followed by more fun and festivities,” Director Jimmy Olsen wrote on Lynnfield Recreation’s Facebook page. “It’s a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season with friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you there for an afternoon of community cheer and holiday magic.”
