LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Recreation is bringing back its Gingerbread House Contest to Centre Congregational Church on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Residents are invited to bring their creativity and holiday spirit to compete in one of the following categories: Best Family, Best Group, Best Individual, Best Holiday Scene

and Best Pioneer Pride.

Participants need to drop off their gingerbread houses at the Centre Congregational Church at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

“People’s Choice voting will take place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.,” Director Jimmy Olsen wrote on Lynnfield Recreation’s website. “Don’t miss your chance to vote for your favorites!”

Olsen said the winners will be announced on Lynnfield Recreation’s Facebook page on Monday, Dec. 9.

“Please pick up your gingerbread houses at the end of the Tree Lighting Ceremony,” Olsen stated. “Get ready to showcase your gingerbread skills and spread some holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see your creations.”
