Enjoyed world travels with her grandchildren

LYNNFIELD — Adele Renna, 97, of Lynnfield, formerly of Queens, New York, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Lynnfield.

Born in Naples, Italy on August 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Pericles and Laura (Guida) Mannerini.

Ms. Renna was raised in Queens, New York and was a retired office manager for Richard Ulin, M.D. in Queens. She had been a Lynnfield resident since 2011. Ms. Renna was a member of the Global Travelers. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren traveling around the world.

She was the loving mother of Laura A. Kelly of Lynnfield and Thomas Renna of Tennessee. She was the beloved grandmother of Jennifer King, Scott Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Lauren, Howie and Marissa Renna. She was great-grandmother of Jordan, Brianna, Madelyn, Jenna, Sophie, Megan and Tabatha. Ms. Renna was predeceased by her sister Santa Ienna.

Her funeral will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wednesday Jan. 23 at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Maria Goretti Church 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 4-7 p.m.
