HOLLY HILL, Fla. — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol J. Bergman, 67, of Holly Hill, Fla. She died after a short fight with cancer on August 21, 2018. She was born on October 12, 1950.
She was predeceased by her parents, Carl A. and Margaret Bergman of Lynnfield, Mass. She is survived by her siblings Eric L. Bergman of Palm Desert, Calif., Julie A. Bergman of Marina Del Rey, Calif., and Richard C. Bergman and her brother-in-law Dennis of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Carol was raised and spent most of her life in Lynnfield and surrounding communities. She attended Lynnfield High School and Mount Ida College, after which she spent several years in the U.S. Air Force and other branches of the military. She was very proud to be a veteran. During her time in the service she volunteered with Tops in Blue – which traveled internationally to entertain troops around the world. She enjoyed that tremendously. After leaving the military, Carol worked for the IRS until her retirement when she moved to Florida.
