Avid collector of vintage dolls and enjoyed gardening

NORTH READING— Cynthia V. (Livingston) Dompier, 83, of Andover and formerly of North Reading, died on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the Bear Mountain Nursing Center in Reading. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Dompier.
Born in North Reading on July 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary M. (Burrows) Livingston. Cindy was raised and attended school in North Reading, and was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1955. Cindy lived in North Reading until 1967 and resided in Andover for over 40 years with her husband. She relocated back to North Reading at the time of his death.
Cindy worked as a secretary for many years at TASC in Reading. After her retirement, she worked for the North Reading Transcript and Lynnfield Villager.
She was an avid collector of vintage dolls. She enjoyed creating and sewing outfits. She won several blue ribbons at local fairs for her collections. Cindy also enjoyed gardening.
Family members include her loving sisters, the late Eleanor White and her surviving husband Kenneth of Nashua, New Hampshire; Janice Novasad of North Reading and her husband Michael; her late sister Aldana Greene and her late husband Leonard of Greene, Maine; and her late brother Ervin Livingston and his surviving wife Carol Livingston of Andover. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover. There will be no calling hours.
