Loving mother and grandmother was active at OLA

LYNNFIELD — Eileen McMahon, a longtime resident of Lynnfield, died on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Josephine (Ferullo) Parisi. She was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Revere. She settled in Lynnfield in 1955 and raised her family. Eileen was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church as well as being the longtime organist and soloist for the church. She was also a member of the Polymnia Choral Society of Melrose, the Larks of Lynnfield and many other organizations in Lynnfield over the years.

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. McMahon. She was the loving mother of Marilyn A. McMahon of Lynnfield, David N. McMahon of Wakefield, Brian J. McMahon and his wife Mercedes of Brooksville, Florida, Richard M. McMahon and his wife Lynne of Windham, New Hampshire; and the late Robert J. “Bo” McMahon Jr. She was the sister of Alberta McMahon of Lynnfield and Joseph A. Parisi Jr. of California. She was the cherished grandmother to eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield on Wednesday, June 30. Interment followed at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield. The McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield handled the arrangements.
