Had a lifelong passion for art and design

STAMFORD, Conn. — Kimberly Anne “Kim” Harris, passed away on Feb. 3, 2022 after a long and brave battle with cancer.

She was a 38-year resident of Stamford, Conn.

Kim was born in Alexandra, Virginia in 1952 to Roger and Joan Harris. She grew up in Lynnfield, and graduated from Lynnfield High School with the Class of 1970. She was a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly.

Kim had a lifelong passion for art and design, which she pursued in both her professional and personal lives. She managed Chromacopy, a graphic design firm, as vice president and general manager for 10 years. She worked for the Advantage and Vanguard staffing companies before launching her own business. Kim established CreativeLink, a graphic artists talent placement service that she ran successfully for 14 years.

Kim was an ardent supporter of the Stamford Loft Artist Association, and was recognized by them for her dedication to the organization. She served the Stamford community for 10 years as a volunteer for The Rogers International School’s “Learning to Look” art appreciation program for fifth grade children.

She was also a volunteer for two local Alzheimer’s support groups, including the Memory Cafe.

Kim was blessed to have many long-time friends with whom she enjoyed at-home dinner parties and dining out, art shows and other cultural events and sharing great books. She enjoyed international travel.

Kim’s daughter Alexandra Caulfield Fodiman and her husband, James Fodiman of Charleston, South Carolina, survive her. Kim’s father Roger Harris of Boxford also survives her. Her sisters Wenda Harris Millard of Charleston; and Stacey Harris of Cody, Wyoming, also survive Kim. She is also survived by two granddaughters, who were the lights of her life: Siena Harris-Rhine and Pearl Fodiman of Charleston.

Her family and friends will miss her dearly and deeply.
