LYNNFIELD — Marie A. (Shea) French, 88, of Lynnfield died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family.

Marie was born in Boston on Sept. 12, 1929. She was raised in Chelsea and was a graduate of Chelsea High School. She later worked at the Chelsea Soldiers Home. She had been a Lynnfield resident since 1957.

Marie was the beloved wife of Alfred J. French. She was the loving mother of the late Robert and Thomas French. She was the sister of the late James Shea.

Her funeral service was held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, June 5. Visitation for relatives and friends was held prior to the service. Interment took place at Forest Hill Cemetery.
