A beloved wife and mother loved her community

 

LYNNFIELD — Vicki Lynn Freni Cochrane, 74, of Lynnfield, the beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Cochrane, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Vada Rachel Willits and Robert Walter Edleman, and was the sister of Robert “Harry” Edelman of Miami Beach, Florida. She was the devoted mother to Christina Marie Freni-Agurto of Atlanta, Georgia; Richard Freni of Chicago, Illinois. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Lynn Cochrane. Vicki was a beloved grandmother to Zachary Freni-Agurto, Tara Freni and Dominic Freni and was great-grandmother of MacKenna Freni.

Upon graduating from high school in Grand Rapids, Iowa, she attended college at Parsons College in Iowa before she settled in Massachusetts.

Vicki had a sincere love for children and her community. She worked as a teacher at Huckleberry Hill School for over 20 years.

Her greatest joy was attending soccer games, where her daughter Kim played for Lynnfield and Northeastern University. Vicki also had a successful embroidery and ceramic business in Lynnfield.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 4-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill Ave., Lynnfield on Friday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m.
