Lynnfield resident for over 42 years

MIDDLETON — Vivian A. Serrentino, 87, of Middleton, formerly of Lynnfield, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Hathorne Hill in Danvers.
Born in China Grove, North Carolina on September 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Patton) Sherrill.
Mrs. Serrentino was raised and educated in Salisbury, North Carolina. She had been a Lynnfield resident for over 42 years. Mrs. Serrentino was a former member of the Somerville Kiwanis.
She is survived by her husband Roy Serrentino, her son Dean Serrentino of Beverly, her two grandchildren; Dean Serrentino, Jr. and Stephanie Marie Serrentino and her three sisters; Rachel Harper of Salisbury, N.C., Margaret Troutman of Charlotte, N.C., and Tiny Bear of Sailsbury, N.C.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday, March 23 at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
