WAKEFIELD — M. Doris (Morris) DiNardi, 98, passed away at Winchester Hospital on November 20, 2018. She was born in Malden to the late Charles and Rita (Amirault) Morris.

She was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1938. Doris lived in Malden for several years. She and her husband Domenic built a house in Melrose on Mt. Vernon Ave. They lived in Melrose for many years before her husband was transferred to New Jersey while working at the Ford Motor plant. After his retirement in 1956 Doris and her husband moved to Wakefield and she has been a resident ever since.

Mrs. DiNardi was a homemaker who enjoyed taking trips to Florida, Las Vegas and Wonderland Dog track in Revere. But above all her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late Dominic DiNardi. Loving mother of Paul DiNardi and his wife Susan of Gloucester and Carol Harrington and her husband Robert of Fla. Caring sister of the late James Morris and his wife Pat of Melrose. Proud grandmother of Robert Harrington and Scott Harrington and his wife Michele all of Fla. Cherished great-grandmother of Madison and Mason. Also survived by several relatives and friends.

Friends and family may gather at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday, November 28, from 9-10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
