PEABODY — Madeline Marie Colwell, 61, of Peabody, formerly of Wakefield, died Monday, Feb. 16 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Bradock, Pa. on Dec. 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Elizabeth (Williams) Hinerman.
Madeline was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1971. She had been a longtime Wakefield resident before moving to Peabody in 2002. She had worked as an office manager for Hear USA in Peabody and was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
Madeline was the wife of Paul R. Colwell Jr. She was the mother of Matthew Bryant Jr. and Kevin Bryant of Woburn, Kerry Nota and her husband Christopher of North Andover and Erica Colwell of Medford. She was the sister of Frank Hinerman and his wife Linda of Florida and the late Eugene Hinerman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tiffany and Christopher Jr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
