REPRESENTATIVES OF The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield appeared before the Board of Selectmen to tell them about the Foundation’s upcoming 35th annual Phonathon on Saturday, March 21, from noon to 4 p.m. On that date, students will be calling local residents to request donations. Cathy Donovan, vice president of The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield (TSF) told the selectmen that over the last 55 years the Foundation has helped over 10,000 Wakefield students. In 2014, TSF distributed $463,700 to 270 Wakefield students based on financial need.
