WILL MANDRACCHIA (MHS ’16) was named Player of the Week for Clark University lacrosse.

WORCESTER, MA – Melrose resident Will Mandracchia was named NEMAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Clark University lacrosse program go undefeated, earning their best start in school history with a 2-0 road trip in Clearwater, Florida last week.

Mandracchia (2014 graduate of MHS), earned 13 points in two games for the Scarlet and White, including a game winning shot in a 10-9 double overtime win over DeSales University. In the game Mandracchia notched four goals and an assist – including the game-winning goal in double overtime. During Clark’s 21-5 victory over Cazenovia on March 10, Mandracchia had four goals and four assists.

Clark University is off to 4-0 for the first time in school history thanks in part to the former Red Raider, who leads the team in goals (10), assists (12) and points (22).

Last season as a freshman Mandracchia, a management major, appeared in 13 games for Clark with a total of 17 goals.
