WAKEFIELD — Margaret G. D’Arcangelo, 89, of Wakefield died on February 5, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 21, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Francesco and Mary (Oddi) Presutti.
Margaret was raised in the North End, and had been a Wakefield resident since the 1950’s. She was a member of St. Florence Church and was an avid Bingo player.
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter D’Arcangelo. She was the loving mother of Joseph and Peter D’Arcangelo Jr., both of Wakefield. Paul D’Arcangelo of Leominster, Camille Browne of Barrington N.H., Brian D’Arcangelo of Swampscott, and Karen Bognanno of Stoneham. Margaret was the sister of Theresa Ianacco of Everett, Alfredo Franciosa of Fla., and the late Michael Oddi, Asunta Petrigno, Anthony Oddi, Tina Frangiamone, Donato Oddi, Rosi Sisti, Raphaelle Franciosa. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph Jr., Jane, Claire, Christopher, Danielle, Angela, Frankie, and Candice. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Margaret’s pride and joy was caring for her great-grandchild Michael Anthony.
Funeral services will be private.
