Great–grandmother of nine with local survivors

MEDFORD — Marie A. (Porriello) Carbone of Medford passed away Feb. 23. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Carbone and the devoted mother of Louis Carbone Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Medford, Patricia Quinlan and her husband Richard of Medford, Saverio Carbone and his wife Donna of Florida, Phil Carbone and his wife Nance of North Reading.
She was the loving grandmother of Dawn Marie, Angelina, Sue, James, Sammy, Tracy, Michael, Nicholas and the late Louis and the loving great–grandmother of Ryan, Kayla, Eden, Amelia, Jonathan, Lola, Gia, Rocco and Stella. Marie was the dear sister of Lorraine Tringale and her husband Joseph of North Reading, Jeanette Raso and her husband Richard of Medford and the late Nicholas Porriello, Lucy Fortunato and Rita Carbone. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral was held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, Medford, Monday, Feb. 29 followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Medford. Services concluded with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hallmark Health VNA & Hospice, 178 Savin St., Malden MA 02148.
