SAUGUS — Mary C. (Laskey) Cirillo, 74, passed away at her home in Saugus on April 28, 2018.

Mary was born in Somerville on November 9, 1943 to the late Raymond and Teresa (McKeon) Laskey. She was raised in Somerville, graduated from St. Joseph High School and from Malden Hospital School of Nursing. Mary lived most of her life in Melrose, Malden for several years, and has lived in Saugus for many years.

She was a dedicated registered nurse, worked at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for over 30 years while also working at the Whidden Hospital in Everett, and ended her career working for East Boston Health Care Center for over 10 years. Mrs. Cirillo helped many people throughout her nursing career, not only at work but also helping family, friends and neighbors over her 45 year career as a nurse.

She was a huge hockey fan, enjoyed watching her boys play hockey or a good Boston Bruins game. Mary was an animal lover and had numerous pets over the years. She loved Christmas Eve, music, singing and listening to Barry Manilow, the Beach Boys, and even Pink Floyd. Mary also loved spending time at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire ever since she was a kid. But above all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.

Mary was the loving mother of Denise Cadigan and her husband Steven of Saugus, Chris Cirillo of Malden, Maureen LaMonica of Winthrop, Anthony Cirillo of Malden and the late Brian Cirillo. Cherished grandmother of Frankie and Nicholas LaMonica, C.J. and Macy Cadigan. Caring sister of Ray and Paul Laskey, Ellen Varney and Jane Dargan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
