MESA, Ariz. — Mary Dorothy Puglisi, 88, of Mesa, Ariz. entered the Gates of Heaven, Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015 to join her beloved husband Salvatore Joseph Puglisi to whom she was married for 35 wonderful years.
Mary Dorothy Puglisi was known by all who knew and loved her as Dorothy. She is survived by her three loving children Dayne Hayes, Jeffrey Puglisi and Peter Puglisi as well as their families, which include her son-in-law Terry Hayes, daughter-in-law Lora Puglisi, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dorothy passed away peacefully with family at her bedside after a sudden illness. She deeply touched the lives of everyone with her wit, positive attitude, warmth, friendship, compassion and generosity. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to country music and spending time with family. Dorothy was always ready to help others in their time of need and she will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield on Saturday, Aug. 8 at noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
