WAKEFIELD — Mary E. Keller, 94, of Wakefield, formerly of Stoughton, died on Friday, May 18, at the Elmhurst Health Care in Melrose.

Born in Boston on May 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Cullinane) Pethick.

Mrs. Keller had been a resident of Stoughton for 55 years before moving to Wakefield three years ago. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls, Class of 1941.

Mrs. Keller was a retired legal administrator for the Veterans Administration in Boston.

She enjoyed traveling to Broadway in New York.

Mrs. Keller was the wife of the late Joseph S. Keller. She is survived by her daughter Maureen D. Jennings and her husband Kenneth of Wakefield and her three grandchildren: Michael Jennings, Kevin Jennings and Kristen Jennings, all of Wakefield.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
