Lynnfield resident had many interests

LYNNFIELD — Mary L. Dischino, 85, of Lynnfield died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Peabody.

Born in Chelsea on Nov. 7, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Sexton) McDermott.

Mrs. Dischino was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and raising animals. She loved to cook and was dedicated to her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Dischino. She was the loving mother of Ellen Marie Snow and her husband Stephen of Wakefield and Daniel Arthur Dischino and his wife Elizabeth of Malden. She was the adoring grandmother of Alexander Snow and Daniel Dischino. She is also survived by many cousins.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday, Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.

Visitation for relatives and friends at the funeral home will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 4-7 p.m.
