MELROSE — Superintendent of Schools Cyndy Taymore announced the two finalists for the position of principal of the Lincoln School, Felicia Wettstone and Alison Donovan.

The permanent position is vacant because Brent Conway was chosen to be principal of the Veterans Memorial Middle School.

Taymore said the district will be hosting each candidate individually for a site visit to the Lincoln School on February 9 and February 10. Each site visits consists of an open meeting with parents, a visit to classrooms with an opportunity to observe instruction and meet students, lunch with the administrative team, an interview with the Superintendent, and a meeting with the Lincoln staff. The candidates and visit schedule are as follows:

Monday, February 9th: Felicia Wettstone. Ms. Wettstone is currently a Literacy Coach at the Webster School in Everett. She has experience as an Acting Principal and a Grade 3 Teacher. She holds degrees from Westfield State College, Salem State College, and American International College.

Tuesday, February 10th: Allison Donovan. Ms. Donavan is currently Acting Principal at the Lowell Elementary School in Watertown. She has experience as an Elementary Curriculum Coordinator, a Data Team Leader, and a Grade 5 Teacher. She earned her Bachelor and Master’s degrees at Lesley University and did further graduate work at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
