Undefeated Melrose battles for Super Bowl title

MELROSE—The Melrose Youth Football 5-6 grade tackle football team are one win away from a Super Bowl title.

On Sunday, Nov. 10 the boys won the EMass AYF Conference B Championship after beating Charlestown, 24-6. They are now headed to the EMass AYF Super Bowl Sunday, November 18 at 12:00 p.m. at Bentley University.

Players include Alberto Brincheiro, Brady Yee, Marco Albanese, Jack McAree, Ricardo Teixeira, Trevor Burt, Brian Capodilupo, Max Betts, Jack Ruelle, Rocco Kraunelis, Yash Gulrajani, Charlie Finocchiaro, Colin DeCarlo, Brayden Pesce, Aiden Greene, Quinn Fogarty, Mikey Thomas, Dante Lamentea, Keegan Moloney, Jayden Rodriguez, Jacob Canlas, Nick Hitchman, Griffin Brady.

The team is coached by head coach Jonathan Pietrantonio and Zack Pietrantonio, Robert Yee, Steve DeCarlo Bryan Frazier, Jordan Kelley, and Heath Kiley.
