Melrose Americans on a hot streak as season gets into full swing

MELROSE — Last summer, the Melrose Americans baseball team (ages 18 and up) lost in the Intercity League semi-finals 2-0 in the best-of-three series to the eventual champions, the Lexington Blue Sox.

Melrose went 16-11-1 in the regular season to come in fourth place…
