MELROSE — Follow Your Art Community Studios (FYACS) announces the annual Art of Words gallery exhibition at 647 Main St. in Melrose. This fourth iteration of the show features works by FYACS’ creatives-in-residence. The twist is that the writers and visual artists exchanged words and artwork and prompted each other to respond in their given mediums.
FYACS invites the community to the Opening Reception of the exhibit on Friday, October 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition will be on view through October 31. Gallery viewing hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m.to 8 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A guided visual descriptions tour of the exhibition made possible through FYACS’ Arts for All program will be announced soon at fyamelrose.org.
