The High level Basketball Summer Clinic run by Melrose High boys’ basketball head coach Danny Burns will take place from Aug. 23-25 at the Melrose Middle School/High School Marcoux Gym.

The camp is for boys, grades 3 through 9.

“We will try to make the game fun and enjoyable while stressing that basketball is a game of fundamentals,” said Burns. “We encourage any level of play including beginners to join. We will try to determine the level of instruction to the individual needs of the student. Students will get to work with current Melrose High School coaches and current and former Melrose High School basketball players.”

Registration can be made online at www.highlevelbball.com or at the event 30 minutes prior to start time. Grades 3-5 will be from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. while grades 6-9 will be 10a.m.-12 p.m.

The three day clinic costs $130. The camp will feature fundamental drill stations, a foul shooting contest, 3-on-3 competitions, free prizes, trivia challenges and individual and team awards.
