MELROSE — All-Stars for all eight sports were recently announced by the Middlesex League.

All-Stars for each sport are voted on by coaches in the league.

There were 34 All-Stars selected from Melrose.

The girls’ track team had the most All-Stars named out of any sport. Making the list were Jillian Bakey (2 Mile), Cadence L’Heureux (Mile, 4×400), Anna Mackey (800, 4×400), Julia McAree (High Jump), Taylor Pesce (Triple and High Jump, Hurdles), Meghan Radizk (Triple Jump), Kate Sikkema (Javelin, 4×400), Charlotte Tysall (Mile, 4×400), Sophia Weisman (Long Jump) and Autumn Whalen (4×400). Pesce and Sikkema were named to the All-Conference team.

The baseball team had Domenic Lamentea, Rowan Smith, Matthew Whelan and Malcolm Whitfield make the All-Star team. Whitfield was also named to the All-Conference team.

In softball, Melrose All-Stars were Madelaine Kozlowski, Lauren Overlan and Madison Tobin.

Patrick Stratford was an All-Star for boys’ tennis.

The girls’ tennis team had five All-Stars named: Isabella Cottrell, Mackenzie Donovan, Ava Picone, Saoirse Stallings and Anna Wong.

Caleb Barnes (2 mile), Gabriel Buffonge (110 High Hurdles) and Russell O’Donnell (400 Hurdles) were All-Stars in boys’ track.

The boys’ lacrosse team had five All-Stars, highlighted by league MVP Liam Maher who was also All-Conference. Shea Fogarty also made the All-Star and All-Conference teams. Stephen Fogarty, Maxwell Kirby and Brady Pitcher were named All-Stars.

The girls’ lacrosse team had three All-Stars: Megan Casey, Sophia Hitchman and Alexandra Maguire. Maguire was named an All-Conference.
