MELROSE—The Melrose High Marching Band celebrated their seniors during MHS Band Senior Night Celebration. The occasion marked the honoring of their seniors Thomas McAndrew (drum major), Patrick Stringer, Randi Sullivan, Marissa Zelten, and Lucia Gagliano.

Randi Sullivan was the recipient of the Danny Williams Spirit Award and Scholarship. The award was presented during the Melrose Band Spring concert on May 19 by Matthew Repucci, Melrose Band Director. 

Saying so long this season are Drum Major Thomas McAndrews, Randi Sullivan, trumpet player, Patrick Stringer, bass player, and section leader, Lucia Gagliano, alto saxophone section leader and Marissa Zelten, flute section leader.

The MHS Marching Band was the first high school marching band in the area to have outdoor practice last fall. It was conducted by Thomas McAndrews and the group accompanied the football team during its Fall 2 sport season in April.
