MELROSE—The Melrose Little League would like to invite the Melrose community to their annual Player Parade on Saturday, April 27 to celebrate the start of the 2019 season.
The annual parade will feature 600+ Little League players, volunteers and coaches, as well as many elected officials from Melrose, and other invited guests. The parade will leave the parking lot behind Memorial Hall at 8:30 a.m. and exit onto Winthrop Street, turning right onto Myrtle Street, crossing West Emerson at the Melrose Public Library onto Lake Avenue, turning right onto Tremont Street, before entering Lewis Monk Field for an on field celebration at 9:00 a.m.
They hope to see plenty of friends and neighbors along the parade route as they welcome Spring and the return of another fun and exciting year of Little League baseball in Melrose.
