MELROSE — The Melrose Running Club recently donated $18,500 from the 24th Annual Melrose Run for Women to Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV).
Despite the pandemic, this virtual event held over Mother’s Day weekend was a tremendous success, thanks to the dedication of Race Director Thuy Dang and her team, race sponsors, and the loyal participation of community members.
Funds raised support MAAV’s outreach and prevention programs in the schools and community to stop domestic violence before it starts.
