REVERE — Alice (Mazzola) Auditore, 88, of Revere died at the Benchmark Senior Living in Woburn on April 21, 2018.

Alice was born and raised in Revere, attended Revere schools and was a lifelong Revere resident. Alice was the President of her family business since 1978, Floors Inc. of New England, formerly of Revere, Melrose and Wakefield. She was very active and committed to the Eagle Heights Cathedral in Revere, where she belonged to the Oasis Senior Ministry and also sang in the choir. Alice loved traveling to Aruba, Bermuda, St. Martin, Italy, Greece, Spain, England and Morocco. She enjoyed sewing and her family was the most important part of her life.

Alice was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Auditore, Sr. for 24 years. Loving mother of June Auditore of Saugus, Renee’ Proulx and her husband Stephen of Peabody and the late Francis J. Auditore, Jr. Cherished “Grandmama “ of Kristen Reynolds, Karissa (Reynolds) Esposito and her husband Fiore, and Briana Proulx. Caring sister of Fannie Maria of Topsfield, Samuel Mazzola of Fla., and the late Salvatore, Joseph, Anthony and Charles Mazzola and Laura (Mazzola) Albanesi. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Homecoming Celebration will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, April 28, at 11 a.m.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the memory of Alice Auditore for the restoration of the Frank Auditore, Jr. Memorial at Eagle Heights Cathedral, 1075 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere, MA 02151.
