MELROSE — Ann L. (Talieri) Farrell, 87, passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on March 8, 2019.

Ann was born in Boston on May 19, 1931 to the late Lawrence and Helen (Charleton) Talieri. She was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and has been a lifelong resident. Ann was a homemaker who was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church, was very active member with the church and was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Church. Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed playing Scrabble and bingo at the Fuller House in Melrose and looked forward to her monthly trips to Foxwoods to play Bingo.

Mrs. Farrell was the beloved wife of the late Frank L. Farrell. Loving mother of Dennis J. Farrell and his wife Janet of Melrose, Sheila Farrell of Lynn and the late Paul Farrell. Proud grandmother of Brian Farrell, Kellie Capachietti and her husband Tom and Scott Farrell. Cherished great-grandmother of Christopher, Michael, James and Julia Capachetti and Devon Farrell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St. Melrose on Friday, March 22 at 10 a/m. Interment to follow at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. There are no visiting hours.
