A family oriented man who enjoyed traveling and music

LYNNFIELD Anthony M. Celani, age 88 of Lynnfield and formerly of Melrose, died October 1, 2021 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Mr. Celani was raised in Malden, later residing in Melrose, and had been a Lynnfield resident since 1972. He was the retired president and owner of New England Sports Cars in Malden. He was a member of the Lions Club of Lynnfield and enjoyed music, playing the accordion and organ. He enjoyed travel, especially to Italy, and was an avid student of WW II history. Most of all, he loved being with his family.

Mr. Celani is the beloved husband of Gianna M. (Marcoccia) Celani. He was the loving father of Frank Celani and wife, Sharon, of Peabody; Brenda A. Kane and husband, David, of NH and Anthony Celani and wife, Lucy, of North Reading. He was the brother of the late Marion Gianino and Anita Mobilia. He is survived by his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

His funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
