MELROSE — Cassandra R. Savage, 31, of Melrose, died unexpectedly on May 14, 2018.

Cassandra was born in Stoneham and attended schools in Melrose, Malden and Everett. She resided in Melrose for most of her life and worked as an Administrative Assistant for a publishing company. Cassandra enjoyed nature, photography, hiking in the Whip Hill section of Melrose, time at Winthrop Beach, Camp Eureka in Sandown, N.H. and Lincoln, N.H. She loved animals, cats and going fishing with her grandfather.

Cassandra was the loving mother of Dylan J. Savage and the late Brendan Savage Duhaime. Devoted daughter of Anita V. Savage of Everett and John L. Savage, Jr. of Melrose. Caring sister of Michael Lapointe and his wife Dena and Anthony Chase, all of NH. Granddaughter of Frances Herlihy Savage and the late John L. Savage, Sr.; and Mary Stuart Lapointe and the late Alfred Lapointe of Fla., Jonathan Langis of Everett. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
