MELROSE — Daniel R. Guevin, 30, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on April 1, 2018. Dan was born and raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 2005.
He enjoyed spending time in Ossipee, N.H., swimming, boating and jet skiing. Dan’s family, nieces and nephew were the most important part of his life.
He was the loving son of Daniel J. and Joanne E. Guevin of Melrose. Caring brother of Elizabeth J. Markarian and her husband Stephen of Rowley and Jennifer J. Conway and her husband Sean of Melrose. Devoted grandson of Jean Brandano of Melrose, Claire Shomody of Fla., and the late Robert Guevin. Uncle of Kiley, Kenzie, Lucas and Kaylee. Cherished friend of Michael and Peter. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, April 6, from 4-7 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
