MELROSE — Enrico Palladino of Melrose died peacefully on March 5, 2021 at the age of 77.
Enrico was the beloved husband of Eleonora (Scibilia) Palladino of Melrose. He was the loving father of Maria Kane and her husband Michael of Wilmington, Nancy McDermott and her husband John of Wakefield, Enrico Palladino Jr. and his fiancée Stacey of Peabody, and Catherine Palladino of Melrose. He was the proud grandfather of Nicholas, Kevin, Jackson, Dylan, Mason and Ella. He was the caring brother of Carmen Palladino and his wife Antonietta, Emilio Palladino and his late wife Antonietta, Christina Barletta and her husband Patsy, the late Vincenzo Palladino and his wife Rosa, the late Giuseppe Palladino and his late wife Maria, and the late Felice Palladino and his wife Giusepina.
Enrico was born in Avellino, Italy on April 1, 1943 to the late Giuseppe and Maria (DeLeo) Palladino. He was raised in Italy before immigrating to the United States. In 1969 Enrico married the love of his life, Eleonora, in East Boston. They bought a home in Melrose and lived there happily for 47 years. He was a man of few words who loved his family passionately. He enjoyed word searches and trips to Foxwoods with Eleonora.
Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. Family and friends gathered for the funeral procession from the Gately Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 10, at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at the Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St., Melrose.
