HUDSON, N.H. — James M. Grady Sr., 65, of Hudson, N.H. and formerly of Melrose, died suddenly at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H. on November 12.
James was born in Malden to the late James J. and Patricia (Roubian) Grady, was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School Class of 1973 and attended Northeastern University. He lived in Melrose for 30 years and the past 30 years in Hudson, N.H.
James worked as a Regional Manager for Harcros Chemical Company in Nashua for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and played in the Thursday afternoon Resteen Group League at Overlook Golf Course in N.H. Mr. Grady enjoyed his family trips to Cape Cod and Mt. Washington and Aruba had a special place in his heart. He was also an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
James was the loving father of James M. Grady Jr. Loving brother of Patricia “Renee” (Berg) MacHenry of Boonville, Ark., Gregory Grady of Hampton, N.H., Darlene (Grady) Duggan of Essex, Mark Grady of Saugus, Darryl Grady and his wife Mary of Londonderry, N.H. and the late Kalmer Berg. Also survived by many extended family members, coworkers and friends.
Visitation was held at the gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday, November 21. A funeral service will be held at Gately Funeral Home on Friday morning at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
