MELROSE — John P. (David Ian) Davidian, 65, of Melrose, formerly of Lynn, died on June 26, 2018.

Devoted husband of Deborah A. Davidian (McGurin) for 39 years. Loving father of John R. Davidian and his wife Nicole Pesce-Davidian, of Melrose; Joanna Davidian and her partner Christopher Johnson, of Beverly; and Danielle Snyder and husband Thomas Snyder, of Reading. Cherished Papa to Sophie and Harper Davidian, of Rockland, and Theresa Pesce of Melrose. Beloved brother of Joan Luciano, of Salem. Treasured uncle to David Carroll and his partner Gina Kearns of Methuen; and Chris Carroll, wife Kori, and their daughter Avery, of North Reading. Dog dad to precious pups Lucy and Paisley. Preceded in death by his parents John and Frances Davidian, of Lynn, and brother-in-law Al Luciano, of Salem.

John was an actor, singer, musician, voiceover professional, and writer, dedicating his entire life to perfecting his craft. He appeared in hundreds of films, TV shows, stage productions, and commercials during his career. He was always quick with a joke, entertaining those around him. He served as mentor to many younger artists, and leaves his legacy through those whose lives he touched.
