MELROSE — Lauren A. Temples, a resident of Melrose, passed away at home on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at age 65.

Born in Melrose on December 8, 1955, Lauren was one of four children of the late Edward C. Shaw and Arlene (Alto) Shaw. She was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1973. Lauren resided in Maryland for many years with her family before returning to Melrose in 2013. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed volunteering her time at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Gift Shop.

Lauren was the wife of the late Charles A. Temples, Jr. and companion of the late Frank Limone. Devoted mother of Bryan Melanson and his wife, Dawn; Robert E. Melanson, and Jillian Ripple and her husband, John. Dear sister of Leslie Waystack and her husband, Chuck, of Melrose; Jean Ormrod and her husband, Roland, of SC; and the late Robert Shaw. Loving grandmother of Alycia, Sean, Cameron, Carrington, Violet, and Emily.
