WEBSTER — Leonard Owen Kirschner, Jr., 76, of Webster, died on December 2, 2019, following a courageous battle with bladder cancer.  

Born on November 11, 1943, he graduated from Conant High School, Jaffrey, New Hampshire class of 1961. Leonard was a communicant and altar server at St. Patrick’s Church, Jaffrey, New Hampshire for a number of years.

He attended Suffolk University, Boston, Boston University and McGill University, Canada. He earned degrees from each institution. Leonard practiced Law and was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Leonard also served in a legal capacity in the United States Navy. Kirschner was an avid follower of the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots sports teams. He was a daily walker averaging four miles per day.  

Leonard was predeceased by his parents, Catherine Mary Bowes Kirschner and Leonard Owen Kirschner, Sr., two brothers, Charles Leonard Kirschner and Thomas Paul Kirschner. He is survived by his long-time companion Janice Packard Tebo, his brother John W. Kirschner and his spouse Ranice Ann Kirschner, Maria Elena Kirschner (Matt DeRosa), Ritaellen Wittman Murphy (Brian), Christina Murphy Abate (Louie), Sheila Murphy McNaught (Stephen) and numerous loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
